Bookshelf - Reference

You can't know it all, that's why there a reference books out there. For global / general info to more specialized references. You just need them one in a while.

When your a starting hamradio operator I would recommend the ARRL or RSGB  Radio communication handbook. Lot's of good info in there and even when your a advanced hamradio operator it's still a good reference to grep once in a while. 

 

Note : these pages are work in progress, you may only see pictures, but I working on it to add meta data like : title, author, publisher, year of publication and ISBN. And also a short note why I have it and what I like about it (if I don't like a book, it won't get space on my bookshelf).   

  

The ARRL Handbook for radio communications 2016 edition

  • Personal note : When you a more advanced hamradio operator or antenna builder this is the next step after the ARRL antenne book. This is the ultimate Antenna reference book.
     Also available in English now a days. I owned various publications of this book (9e, 10e, 11e, 12e) but sold them or gave them away to fellow hams and stick to the latest one.

Contains lots and lots of formulas for math, physics, chemistry, mechanical, electronics, material knowledge etc. Used to be the live saver and brains for every engineer in the time that calculations where made by hand or on arithmetic ruler. And not found by entering a query in google. Those where the days.
