When I go outside into nature, I always take my Yaesu FT817ND with me in my backpack. That way I can enjoy low background noise (QRM) while listening to distante broadcast station or listen to fellow hamradio operators on the various amateur radio bands. But one thing has hapend to me a few times is that the rig switched on because I packed my bag to full and something pressed on the power button.
Inspired by the LDG Z817 front cover by zauberertz (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2966084) I designed this cover to prevent this cover. My base design has lines so you can create a yellow/black pattern indicating hazard warning.
it's still work in progress but the latest version works very well an can be used with the standard straps.

It's not to be childish but it now happened a few times that a 3D design I made was sold by other people just because is was "Open source, so I can do anything I want with it" without any credits or even a token of appreciation.
